As the initial smoke is pulled from the bowl, it is first filtered through the included 6 slit diffuser downstem. The next stage for your smoke is not one, but two tree percolators where your smoke is ultra-cooled before reaching the mouthpiece. If you want to add another layer of cooling, this straight tube bong has a built-in ice catcher right above the tree percolators.
